  1. I might be misunderstanding, but is this wrong?
“The busiest day of the year was July 15th with 2 views.”
If you have 120,000 views in total, that’s impossible.

    • lol. yeah its a bug as far as i can tell. i had over 2000 views that day.

      • wow that’s a lot. gratz on a successful 2010

        • thanks :)

  2. That’s more than 10 times my numbers. Your search terms and most popular posts says a lot.

I am very happy WordPress has sent this out. I think they should do one every six months. I know we can look it up ourselves, but I like getting stats in the mail periodically.

I should get off my arse and write more like you and tiger :) grats on the stats

    • yeah honestly, if i posted more substance and less fluff that fills my rss feed i’m sure those numbers would drop precipitously.

I’m a bit of a stats hound myself, wasn’t planning on posting anything and then they just had that button to post it, and boom.

  3. I thought it was really good of WordPress to send these to their users. I LOL’d when I saw your number one search term, because I remember a previous post where you were lamenting about it.

    • i know! it still disappoints me. bugs bunny? really?

some of the updates to the stats that wordpress put together kind of annoy me, but i appreciate them putting the time in to that sort of thing.
